Justin is a Bioengineering: Biotechnology student at UC San Diego. In his spare time, he enjoys watching Lost and the Office. His childhood hero is Bill Nye the Science Guy. In the future, he hopes to attend graduate school and pursue a career in academia. |

Katherine Lee
Katherine is a 4th year Bioengineering:Biotechnology student. She enjoys hiking, snorkeling, swimming, golfing, reading, and learning more about new technologies! She will be attending UCSD School of Medicine beginning Fall 2010 and is excited to bring a new perspective to the field of medicine and medical sciences. |

Benedict Pereira
Benedict is a 5th year Bioengineering student. He enjoys intercultural exchange, latin dance, reading graphic novels, and playing guitar. He currently performs research as an intern for the Marine Physical Laboratory at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. |

Dale A Baker, PhD.
Dr. Baker is an associate research scientist and lecturer for the department of bioengineering at UCSD and is the Principal Investigator for the Biotransport and Metabolic Monitoring Laboratory. Research within his laboratory is mainly focused on the study of biotransport, bioinstrumentation, biochemical engineering, and biomaterials. |
